Types of GUTEC scholarships.
For outstanding academic records or professional trajectories, technical achievements, leadership, publications, or high-level certifications.
Indicative coverage: 5%–30% of the programme fee.
Typical profile: top 10–20% of the cohort; demonstrable achievements (e.g. PMP, awards, flagship projects, papers/conferences).
Compatibility: may be combined with the early payment discount up to the programme cap.
Partial support for candidates with justified financial circumstances or from country contexts with lower purchasing power.
Indicative coverage: 10%–40%.
Assessment: financial situation, dependency, country/city of residence, family responsibilities, access to local funding.
Compatibility: generally not combinable with the Merit scholarship beyond the overall cap; it may coexist with instalment payments.
For professionals sponsored by their company or covered by corporate agreements and international partnerships (clusters, professional bodies, public authorities).
Indicative coverage: 5%–25%, depending on the agreement.
Requires: sponsorship letter or proof of membership, and the company’s billing details (where applicable).
Advantages: invoicing to the company, progress reports (if agreed), and possible preferential pricing based on volume.

Note: The coverage indicated is for guidance only; the final percentage will be set out in your offer.

- Internal compatibility: Merit ↔ Needs generally do not accumulate beyond the program cap (e.g., 40% cap).
- Discounts: early payment / alumni / group / country. They can be stacked up to the maximum set by the cohort (we will indicate this in the offer).

Tiebreakers (order): social impact of the project, diversity of the cohort, age of the application (first-come within the deadline).

Process and deadlines.
- Check “Apply for scholarship” on the admission form and select the type.
- Upload the required documentation.
- Interview (if applicable) and evaluation by the Scholarship Committee (in parallel with the Admissions Committee).
- Resolution in your offer or within 7–10 days thereafter.
- Acceptance: digital signature of terms and conditions and final price adjustment.

Maintenance conditions
- Academic permanence: attendance at key sessions and timely submission of deliverables.
- Performance: pass modules with the minimum grade established by the program.
- Conduct: academic integrity and legitimate use of software/resources.
- Ambassadors (optional if agreed): participation in forums, alumni sessions, support for technical dissemination.
Non-compliance: the scholarship may be reduced, suspended, or revoked (depending on the severity and repetition).
Revocation and appeals
Reasons: document falsification, plagiarism/impersonation, repeated unexcused absences, prolonged non-payment
Procedure: written notification → student’s arguments (5 days) → final decision by the Committee.
Appeal: one additional appeal with new documentation or correction of facts.
